Introducing Verified by Visa for online shopping

Fast, simple and now more secure, online shopping never felt so good. Take your AIB Jersey & Isle of Man Visa International Debit Card or Gold International Debit Card, add a Shopping Password to confirm your identity and you can enjoy added online protection with Verified by Visa.

To provide added security for our cardholders who shop online, AIB Jersey & Isle of Man are participating in the Verified by Visa service. This enhanced protection is now available when you use your card for online shopping with participating retailers and to use your card online you will need to register your card for the Verified by Visa service. Registration is completed during the shopping process which is also known as activation during shopping or ADS.

Registering your Card for Verified by Visa

When you are next shopping online with a Verified by Visa participating merchant and you complete your card details to pay for your purchase, the merchant will present you with a Card Authentication screen. This screen will display a window from AIB Jersey & Isle of Man requesting you to register your card for the Verified by Visa service. You will also be presented with a link to the Verified by Visa website should you require more information before you register. Please note you will not be able to register through the Verified by Visa website and will have to return to the Card Authentication screen and click the Activate service button to proceed.
