Making Payments and Timescales
AIB Jersey & Isle of Man offers a comprehensive range of payment services to allow you to transfer funds swiftly and efficiently by taking advantage of AIB Group's network of correspondent banks.
- You can make third-party payments to bank accounts worldwide
- Same-day value transfers can be carried out for sterling, US dollar and euro payments
- Payments can also be made in most other currencies; allow up to three working days for the value date on these payments
- Payment transactions can be carried out online - at a reduced fee
Please note that timescales also depend upon relevant bank holidays worldwide and the internal processing times of any correspondent bank and the beneficiary bank (which are outside the control of AIB Jersey & Isle of Man).
Once you maintain an account with us you can use the internet, telephone, fax or post to request fund transfers.
For extra security, upon completion of your internet or telephone banking application, you are requested to set up pre-mandated payment information. With internet banking you can set-up and amend your details online. You can download the telephone mandate/fax indemnity by visiting our Apply section by clicking the link above.
